We have secured some low-cost housing at the International House. Accommodations include 3 nights. Check-in is at 3pm on Thursday, July 30. Departure is at noon on Sunday, August 2. Rooms are dormitory style with shared bathrooms and ceiling fans but no air conditioning. A private room for one person is $ 135. A private room for one or two with a queen size bed is $210. Please arrive Thursday, if possible, because there will be a full day of programming on Friday.

About the application process: The outreach committee has set goals for attendance that represents the diversity and breadth of revolutionaries in this country. As with last year's gathering, we hope for attendees from all regions of the country and for maximum participation of people of color, those who speak Spanish as a first or primary language, women, GLBTQ people, working class and low income people.

To ensure that we are on track to meet these political goals and adjust our outreach, all applications are first looked over by the committee. After you're approved, you'll hear back about finalizing your attendance, payment, etc.

Your Needs

Please Note: The following four questions ask you to share any needs you might have to support your participation in the Strategic Dialogue. At this point, we are not sure that we will be able to provide support on these fronts due to limited resources, with the exception of interpretation to Spanish, which will be provided. Still, knowing people's needs will help us to know how much to prioritize each arena. We will be in communication with you, if you indicate these needs, about the level of accommodation we are able to provide.

Would having childcare on-site be important for you to participate?

If so, how many children would need childcare and what are their ages?

Payment, Scholarships and Donations

Registration for the Strategic Dialogue will cost $100 per participant to cover the costs of food and conference space. This does not include travel expenses or lodging. This event is volunteer-coordinated; none of these resources will go to staff time or administration.

After your application is accepted, we will contact you about payment options.

In the first blank please indicate how much you can pay towards registration. If you need funds for registration, housing and/or travel, please enter that amount on the second blank. Be as specific as possible.

If you do not need a scholarship, would you be able to donate any additional resources (beyond paying for your own expenses) towards a scholarship fund? We estimate that - with registration, lodging and transportation - the conference will cost each participant between $200 and $500. We strongly encourage individuals with resources and non-profit organizations to provide extra support.

If you indicate that you can donate money, our logistics team will follow up with you shortly.
